The magical number 7...pretty good especially since it's only a pre-order!

Niice - this CD is getting tons of good press so it should easily debut at #1 on the Billboard charts
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

What is the matter with u ppl?? How many times did a britteny spears album get to no.1?! or an x factor winner album?!

Why does getting to no1 matter so much ?!

why r some of u so hyper sensitive. Its just some of us dont smother ourselves in everything Prince extretes!

Prince's best this decade (Xpectation and TRC) I doubt entered any chart - and yet they were outstanding albums.

There are no haters here at the org. Just ppl with an opinion that recent albums have not been very good. To me, I dont see the point of Prince releasing mediocre okayness with a "song for everybody" when Prince is way better than that. i dont know how an artist like Prince can do that, but Prince is Prince, and he is entitled to do what he wants.

It could be the recent albums are an attempt to shift himself into the mainstream and are written/produced with the idea of attracting new fans.

It could be that as Prince is getting older, he is changing (like we all do) and he is not the same person he was. If thats the case then his music will invariably change - permanently. Many artists change direction (Madonna, Kylie etc) and I for one love everything up until TRC.

After that, I think myself and maybe a few others are simply not going to like the new direction. I will always b a prince fan, but I get nowhere near the enjoyment compared to Prince pre 2002. End of. And now, I find myself listening to other artists and exploring some amazing albums, old and new.

Its fork in the road time I think - and either u continue to follow and be mad about prince or you go down another path - occasionally glancing over..
