Ditto. This song is really great cause it seems so unpretentious its like he's just letting it flow and having fun and that is so infectious.

All you people are so awesome. It feels good knowing that you all know and love the same songs I do! Does anyone live in or near Chicago?
I didn't even know last night was the ten year anniversary of Prince Night. I'm sure glad I went! I've been going off and on since 1997.

two outtakes from the mid-90s i just found:

player:which is a beautiful love song even though prince sort of raps. it sounds very poetic though. maybe the best "rap" he's ever done because it feels very authentic. straight from the heart like he really wants to settle down. any one of his 90s albums could've used this. really pretty and sweet.

the undertaker:i love when he does rock stuff like this. a ten minute jam (a la "the war") about steering clear of the world's ills (drugs,violence,etc.). it sounds a bit off the cuff though. the original groove is a laid-back blues beat before a hard rock climax kicks in. very funky tune.
For all time I am with you, you are with me.

The Marrying Kind. I love that song, one of the best songs of the last decade, R and B rock. it's awesome. It should've and would've been a huge hit.
