Hey, I think this album is coming out in August, but just searching on the internet I can't find out any more interesting Prince releated information apart that he's on this charity CD with Santana and others.

Prince's name comes up after Santana, what I was really wondering though is, will Prince have more than one song on the album and does anyone know what it will be? Will it be an old song, a Jimi Hendrix cover or something new? Cheers

The album is called "Rhythm of Life" a charity cd where Sheila E, Santana, Prince and other well-known artists collaborates on this charity album due out in August 07. Here is their myspace page address:

The album is being produced by Marino De Silva. It's suppose to include music from Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones and Jimi Hendrix and many others.
You can go to the Rhythmoflife myspace page and check them out. They just started that page in March. (I believe they run one of Jimi Hendrix's tribute myspace page as well)
