Sam Jennings....he has a website called Dawnation..... I think that's him.... Whoever that Sam Jennings character is, Prince´s CD artwork has been steadily going downhill eversince that dude got into the mix. Steve Parke´s stuff looked hideous as well....but at least you could blame Prince alone for directing Parke´s contributions...his solo stuff seemed OK as long as he didn´t work for Prince..but that Sam Jennings guy knows nothing about good album cover artwork. The last booklet or cd cover that looked halfway decent was Diamonds and Pearls. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! They all look ugly ! In the past, every Prince album was a visual delight, an aesthetic masterpiece, they all had style. You´re right about Lovesexy being the last great album cover....and imagine if he had used that other, alternate Lovesexy cover...then SOTT would´ve been the last great album artwork. Diamonds and Pearls was also nice, the Symbol Album was OK but the rest was just bad...and I never liked the Gold Experience font or pictures either...would´ve been much better if he had released it in it´s original artwork ( just plain gold).
