Was it from an official site? If not, better read the rules.

Yes - wippit.com - which is a very legal download site just the same as itunes and the like. Otherwise i wouldn't have posted anything about it!

Well, since we haven't heard about this release before, I doubt it's something sanctioned by Prince. Has anyone downloaded/listened to it yet?

I haven't checked but this looks like the audio from the "Live from Las Vegas" DVD . But I would have to confirm.

yeah I think it is because the song "Push" is actually "Push and Pull" with Nikka Costa. As most have done I think this is just audio ripped from the DVD

I listened to the whole thing and yes, much of it is the Las Vegas concert. I especially enjoyed hearing the tunes that didn't make the DVD. That band just kills.
The weird thing was all the older songs were just the regular album cuts as far as I could tell- not live versions at all- so why they would give the album a Live in Concert title is beyond me. Damn, I had my hopes up for getting the live version of Controversy P has been doing since the Musicology tour. That version walks on water. I was just about to download it from the NPG Music Club site when it was taken down.

But it's U.S. only!
Cannot listen to it if you're outside the U.S. Get sexy sex, get funky at... The ORANGE Park - Funky President, people, it's bad!

leecaldon-
Song from Alladin Las Vegas that did not make it to the DVD is Shadows in the Dark. I thought there might have been more than one but I was wrong.

Seems we're gettin' a bit confused here. I agree about those older songs you just listed.
I said erlier that I don't know why this album is called "Live" 'cause obviously it's filled with all those studio oldies. But 1+1+1=3, Stange Relationship, Pass the Peas, Family Name and Whole Lotta Love are definitely from the Alladin show. Shadows in the Dark is obviously from Alladin too. What a weird mix of tunes and what a strange timing on the release of this disc to come out at the same time as Planet Earth.

Regardless of the legitimacy of the website, this is a BOOTLEG/PIRATE album.
