everyone who is of the mind to call and request should do so on these stations like they did for Guitar. let them know the purple underground is alive and kicking

I like it much, much, much more than Guitar....who put it in his head to release that song as the first single ? Not that singles really matter these days, anyway....

I can see it doing well here in the US. They need to put it in rotation on the quiet storm hours so the grown folks can get with it.

nice song, but it doesn't touch "Satisfied" or "Call My Name", as far as recent slow jams go... As far as slow 2 mid-tempo Linn Drum stuff, I prefer "What Do U Want Me 2 Do".

Basically, I'm counting on the rest of the album (besides "Guitar", "The 1 U Wanna C", and "FutureBabyMama")... That leaves 7 songs 2 hear. The 3 songs we've heard R fairly forgettable.

Maybe you should point out that comments like the one you made in bold above are nothing more then your own opinions, and don't necessarily reflect that of the collective, cool? Because, to be perfectly honest with you, my opinion of these tracks is that they are FAR from "forgettable"...

Wait, aren't you the one who said we'd be diggin' this CD? Now, parts of it are forgettable? I'm confused... rolleyes

yeah i always hope the best 4 prince and his music but whit todays audience? with the state of the biz? haha the kids don't know who prince is and the companies must hate him for his directions in music

i mean if even 'fury' didn't make it a hit, what new prince material will make it to te top 10? and who cares?

let's enjoy this new music!
cool

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
