Planet Earth - Your Sequence Hey, the CD is great as it is but in what order would you put the tracks on your MP3 player?
Here's my tracklisting: (Mine might sound dumb or wack but what the heaven let's try it.) Guitar Future Baby Mama Resolution Somewhere Here On Earth Mr. Goodnight All The Midnights In The World Chelsea Rodgers The One You Wanna See Lion Of Judah Planet Earth [Edited 7/24/07 9:44am] "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page

I haven't worked up a new sequence yet but I have found if I play Guitar - a song I like - followed by The One You Wanna See - a song I'm so-so on - I end up liking The One You Wanna See , which I haven't previously liked. And I think Resolution does sounds better near the beginning.
And Mr. Goodnite should always follow Future Babymama. Its a fact.

I'll have to try "The One U Wanna C" after "Guitar". But "Guitar" should always follow "Planet Earth". They just sound so good back to back.

I do think Guitar is a good opener and PE a good ending track! "Paisley Park is in your Heart"

-2 Guitar (demo)
-1 Guitar (album) (in the negative section, have to rewind but it's more for archival reasions) so real album goes like this Planet Earth Resolution Lion Of Judah The One You Wanna See Future Baby Mama Mr. Goodnight All The Midnights In The World Chelsea Rodgers Somewhere Here On Earth works superb for me, first rock'n stuff then th eotehr and closing with that other bonafide track

and a tip from HamsterHuey:
01 planet earth 02 lion of judah 03 somewhere here on earth as the first 3 tracks. and i must admit, it does work miraculously well, it even seems as if the chords kind of come together at the end and the beginning of the songs. excellent. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I'm fine with the sequence, I just took out Mr. Goodnight and put Young & Beautiful and the earlier version of Guitar on the end.
Resolution is an obvious ending, but the instrumental intro to Y&B serves as a little rester, and then the two short 'bonus tracks'. Works a charm for me.

basically, i'd just move all of the soul/r&b/funk/whatever songs to the middle.
Planet Earth Guitar The One U Wanna C Somewhere Here On Earth Future Baby Mama Mr. Goodnight Chelsea Rodgers All The Midnights In The World Lion Of Judah Resolution although I do like the released sequencing as it is, currently. af first, i thought it was weird. but it does make sense as you're lisetning to it. The intro cymbals of Mr Goodnight, that were segued outa Future Baby Mama were best left to Future Baby Mama, so Mr Goodnight now starts with the first beat, which is a better intro anyways. And why is Mr Goodnight not released as summer single yet?
