JUSTIFY MY LOVE .. or somethin' about elephants & flowers... i read somewhere along time ago that ingrid chavez co-wrote the music and/or lyrics to justify my love with lenny kravitz & madonna...i think it was a pretty reliable source but what it was escapes me now..

Yes, I heard she co-wrote the song with Lenny Kravitz. And that the song was about they affair they were having. Lisa Bonet found out because Ingrid Chavez tried to sue Lenny and Madonna because she didn't get the writing credit. And then Lisa left Lenny.
Mind you, these are things that I've heard and the facts may be slightly shaky or the order of events, but I think that's the basic jist of the story. ~~~~~~~~~~~

It's true Ingrid co wrote it with Lenny Kravitz. Where is Lisa Bonet anyway and what about their child? Was it a Girl or Boy? I forgot about that. Anybody remember Lenny's Centerfold or Lisa Bonet's in Rolling Stone? Lenny's was in Interview magazine. | |
