...that's what I believe. This is like the Prince I grew up with. I'm not saying there aren't exceptions but I'd bet must fans of 80s Prince likes "Planet Earth" better than most of what he's released post Batman.

After having the album for a week I would say it's a great album. It's still growing on me and I'd rate it up there with The Rainbow Children and The Gold Experience, the two post 1980's albums I think compare to his 1980's high.
