Hey!! Did any UK fans watch the Prince episode on PlayUK Music Channel in the Sex, Drugs & Ruck 'n' Roll series last night??
What did u think about it??
Personally eye thought it was nothing overly special or showed anything that we didnt already know!!
Eye feel that they should have made it an hour long show and they should have covered more ground and really gone into more depth about him, his music, his persona, and was more up-to-date!!

I thought the show was a travesty!

I am used to journalists on TV getting stuff wrong but this show just went from bad to worse.

1st up is the fact that whatever music was playing they had a different video clip which was from another era.

2nd up is the fact that when they mentioned Mavis Staples they showed a clip from the Most Beautiful Girl video which definatley wasn't Ms Staples... Unforgiveable for a music show!

3rd up is the fact that although they were fond of dissing most of his 90s output(hey I would be 1 of them if you asked me what I thought of most of that early 90s material!) they failed to mention greatness like The Truth and Crystal Ball set and "forgot" to tell the people about Rainbow Children and One Nite Alone. Disgraceful!

So in answer to your question: No I didn't like it very much but thanks for asking anyway!
