Sounds superb up to the 35 second mark, becomes boring after that... don't see what the fuss is about.

This is also my stand against POVs re the new album being coralled into predetermined threads run by the management.... so there!

I don't wanna offend anyone here ...
but all songs on the new album are kind of boring except Chelsea Rogers.

I got a little bit excited by 3121, so I was eagerly awaiting the new album ... but Planet Earth isn't my thang at all: weak, save and very slick

Not offended... it just seems to me that Chelsea Rogers is a by-the-numbers song... there are, and now I'm about to offend people, better examples of funk on NPS and better examples of disco on any Scissors Sisters album.

I'm quite enjoying Somewhere Here On Earth, All The Midnights..., and parts of the title track and Lion of Judah. The One U Wanna C is ok... I think I prefer this as a whole over 3121, but then that's because the second half of that album - apart from The Word - sucks... and W&L's return is to be cheered from all the roofs in the world!

I thought we had stickies for this stuff, why are you "stuck on stupid"? No matter how hard the mods try, folks just don't pay attention!

True, Im stating to find this song more and more boring over time.. This tells me 2 things..

1. Theres not much to it (ie runs out of ideas and is therefore repetitive).
2. It would probably be a hit if it was released!

So go follow the herd and get your opinion force fed you... or start a thread and start a thought of your own.

I know... I was really looking forward to this tune after reading reviews and reading discussion... it's just not that rewarding a listen, and, if you'll pardon the opining, testament once more to the laziness of music journalism in general and specifically where it comes to Prince.
