So last night I had a really late night at work and was driving home while checking out Shade 45 on Sirius. A station I normally don't listen to. In my Cd player I had 3121. Any way, the Eminem song "without me" came on and there is a huge similarity to Prince "The Word". Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe I'm nuts, but I listened to it several times. Of course, I am not saying that Prince would ever even need to steal a tune or even a note from Dr. Dre. But I couldn't help notice the similarity. I am not a musician so I don't know how to explain the exact similarity with words, but give both songs a listen and tell me if I am nuts.

...are there specific parts of the songs that are sounding the same to you? because i can't think of any similarities...

Listen to the beginning, right after the acoustic guitar finishes, there is a horn/synth type sound. That is the same sound used throughout Without me. Check it out.
