Does Prince live to piss off the music industry?

I am fascinated and intrigued by all the media coverage Prince has been getting over the "Planety Earth" CD giveaway through the mail. 2004, he releases Musicology to concert goers and it kept his CD in the top ten for the rest of that summer. Now this. It's almost like a cat and mouse game between Prince and the industry and the only question is will the cat catch the mouse.

cool Oh Yeah, he seems to be making a habit out of it. Since the Warner Bros. incident, Prince has been on a roll. He always seem to prove a point about the music industry in his own way. It's like he still has this vendetta against them.

After Emancipation, he's kinda of made himself irrelevant with respect to the recorded music. The hysterics about PE are hyperbole.

Also, plenty of artist have leveraged their success and regained their masters through negotiation. Prince really blew it in the early 90s. Now its too late.

I love how Prince rattles the cage called music industry. Even though his music is not relevant anymore, he finds ways to get heard.

Yeah, but seriously what is 'relevant' music nowadays anyway. I'm drawing a complete blank.
