Prince always goes against the GRAIN!!

Some of us expect a Justin Timberlake R&B CD wannabe some of us expect a R Kelly album straight R&B, after listening to this CD for 5 times STRAIGHT I've come to realize PRINCE makes MUSIC for HIMSELF and not the FANS sad but TRUE, in saying this I respect him even more he is a TRUE ARTIST, if he listen to US he would have been a has been 10 years ago. What other ARTIST releases an album every year? He writes, produce, sings, arrange, compose, I mean seriously why worry about what we think he is going to make money regardless, and gives a hell of a CONCERT. In saying all of this PLANET EARTH is REMARKABLE it want go over well on the R&B side but do you think he cares I doubt it!, Ask yourself can R KEllY, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, OR MJ make an ALBUM this so DIVERSE? I will answer it for you NO! MR GOODNIGHT is a HIT, BABY MAMA DRAMA HIT, GUITAR I LIKE, PE YES!, SOMEONE HERE ON EARTH, CHELSEA RODGERS AWESOME. Finally at least we get MUSIC every year and not every 5 years.

appears to me that he doesn't enjoy playing around with harmonies and melodies much anymore, apart from the little bits of inspiration from Lisa & Wendy: check the arrangement on "Somewhere Here on Earth," the harmonies on "The One U Wanna C" or the verse-melody of "Resolution" -- our best hope would be that the three of them (and their baby, of course) spend a long cold winter locked away in a studio at the Park this next year -- planet earth may just be a glimpse of what's 2 come!

pray

Future Baby Momma has a better melody chord thing going than any of the rock songs, the other tracks sound a bit stuck on two melody parts that repeat without progression.
