People need to listen to the tracks on the album a few times before they make any assumptions to Prince's music. It definitely grows on the listener.
His styles are varied. I love anything he puts out!
3121 is a great CD ! I love every track on it

Well as nice as the 'somewhere here on earth" is, ever women who likes Prince is going to try to get to him in some form or other, hope he realized this when he put that song out, but there is only one soulmate. Will he even know if she were standing in front of him?, as long as he keeps looking for her with his eyes and not his soul he will not ever find her, a women's looks fade, but if she has good honest heart that is what should matter. What if his soul mate is not a brown beauty like he is used to? He must look deeper than the physical. Now that I have come off of my soap box, I like the album it is deep and fun, and no I am not homely for those who are thinking they know why I said the above, pretty girls like me can be non shallow.

oh my god, this is like 3121 meets parade meets sign of the times meets ???? genius, definitely a welcome rock aproached album fueled by his sensational super bowl performance, yet lacking some black sweat, it meets a demand he has not fullfilled in years: "lisa and wendy"!! wanting to hear more after track nine, then he gives u track ten and then u feel empty, wanting more..... and thats exactly what prince is about: U WANT MORE!!!!!love it! greetings to all , Markus and Elvis

AMAZING!! My fave track so far is 'Somewhere Here On Earth...' absolutely gorgeous song..... Tha title track rocks, 2!! What can u say about 'Guitar??' Awesome track!! Overall, this album is right up there with his classic releases and it might be a little better than Musiclogy and 3121.....honestly, I can't truly hate anything he puts out.....such a genius.....
