*** SUMMARY ***

With only a trickle of results over the last 3-4 days, I beleive it is time to put this POLL to bed... But there is a more interesting SINGLES POLL around the corner, similar to the ALBUM poll, in that it will reveal the OUT and OUT favorite (in this case it is Sign of the times), but I hope to collect extra stats to try and make the poll more meaningful to orgers.

*** CONGRATULATIONS TO SIGN OF THE TIMES *** The record with the best opening line in the world is the favorite amongst orgers. I beleive this is also a great favorite amongst non Prince fans as well. Songs like SOTT, Housequake, Play, IT, Starfish, ICNTTPOYM, The Cross, If I was your girlfriend, Dorothy Parker... Fantastic!!

*** Secongd Place is a tie between Purple Rain and Parade.. With Parade being in front for so long, PR just makes it to match Parade *** Although it is a great album, I am surprised that PR has made it to second. ***

1999 and Lovesexy also polled strongly, although I really beleived Lovesexy would have ended up in the tope 3, it didnt actually fare that well.. People still love it thought!! sPECIAL MENTION TO CONTROVERSY, ATWIAD, TGE, EMANCIPATION, DIRTY MIND for being the strongest of the "next group".. Im surprised about Emancipation, but there you go..

At the bottom of the charts lie Planet Earth and 3121, at least they had some votes and being a top 3 doesnt make the bad albums, but just not anyone's favorites. Musicology did not get one vote. NEWS, The Truth, NPS all got a few votes..

There are more poeople on the poll who are "undecided" in their sex than girls!

The profile of an orger (or a Prince fan) is 35-40 male, who loves SOTT, but also cant get enough of Purple Rain and Parade
