I guess I should make it clear that those albums not selected are necessarily hated... For example, few people have picked Musicology in their top 3, but I doubt we all hate musicology, what we can derive is that its no one's favorite.. When I said theres not much love for PE, I guess I meant it doesnt seem to be anyone's favorite so you can interpret those comments as you like I guess...

I guess we could at a later stage hold a "bottom 3" list of CD's to see what is really hated, but I thought that was a little cynical.. what is really interesting is to see what people's favorite singles are, so in that case a top 10 might be needed as there are simple so many songs out there.. the results might also be more surprising than the album results too...

79 votes, great work!! Let's get it to the 100 mark! So far, the favorites are becoming clearer. The POLL cannot tell the whole story, but can at least be a reference point to those who are disputing which records the fans love the most.. AS CNNBREAKINSNEWS succinctly put it.. The record that "made prince into a cult leader overnight" is SIGN OF THE TIMES. THIS IS THE CLEAR FAV.

SOTT already doesnt look like it can be caught. Almost double the points of its rival Parade. ****I AM PERSONALLY SURPRISED HOW WELL PARADE IS DOING, and PRINCE SHOULD TAKE NOTE THAT ITS HIS FAN'S SECOND FAV. FOR A RECORD HE DIDNT SEEM TO BE PROUD OF ITS DOING VERY WELL AMONST FANS**** I beleive Purple Rain (3rd) and 1999 (4th) are still fighting it out for 3rd place, whilst Lovesexy remains entrenched in 5th... SOTT(1987), Parade(1986), PR (1984), 1999(1982), Lovesexy (1987). It is clear that 1982-1987 he was at his creative peak - as there is no getting away from the fact that those in the top 5 will probably stay there! I doubt that TGE will challenge Lovesexy, but its doing rather well in 6th position.

After a slow start Dirty Mind and ATWIAD are improving.. slowly!
PE, still around the bottom and Musicology, For You are still not mentioned. ***NEWS/SLAUGHTERHOUSE/THE VAULT HAVE MORE VOTES THAN FOR YOU???? WHATS UP PEOPLE!!*** The Black Album is finally in the charts though! Im surprised at how well Emancipation is doing..
Girls make up 17% of the vote, fairly lowish.. whilst men around the age of 30-40 make up more than half the vote... So far, the profile of the Prince fan (orger) Im getting is 30 something men... (which actually describes me perfectly)..
