great concert psych! 
that concert was broadcast all around the world- we even got it down here! i was so 
and after the concert they annouced the release date 4 ATWIAD
but when the vid came out- they did that Doves Cry, split down the middle screen thingy  spoilt it IMOseems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before   | |

I still have that VHS copy.
That solo during "Purple Rain" is still one of the most tear-jerking ones I've ever heard by the man.   NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |

That solo during "Purple Rain" is still one of the most tear-jerking ones I've ever heard by the man. Strange that this would come up. I watched the Syracuse concert last night, too. I was copying it from my VHS to a DVD! I called another Prince fan/friend of mine and told her if she needed a Prince fix, this was what she needed to pull out. I hadn't watched it in a while. The whole show was just incredible!! Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.
