I mean, it starts great with PE but it ends quite weakly, nothing to write home about ... I dig this cd so much, but i miss the unforgettable and powerful last track that in the pastime was purple rain or gold.

I think Planet Earth is well-sequenced. They always say you should start with a bang, and I think the first four songs on Planet Earth are KILLER. Then I think the disc sags for the next three songs and picks up for the last three. So it starts strong and ends strong.

Prince isn't much of a public speaker, but he took a tip from the classic speech writing book...when you have three points you put the best one first and the weakest one in the middle!
