Just been browsing the HMV site and seen that they have a few old Prince classics available for 'Pre-Order'. All are due for release on 30th July and all are £3.99.

How does the 12" process work in today's digital world?

I believe they work the same way as they always did - place them on one of those long forgotten turn-table/record player type things and watch 'em spin while Princely sounds emerge from your speakers!

Vinyl for real? Wow. So these 12" are more for the DJ set then? Too bad. I was hoping it was a special CD deal or something.

Right now I don't see myself plucking down $150 for a turntable, maybe, I do have some vinyls around here somewhere, use to have turntable but it suffered water damage If I had of known.

Oh gawd, please no!! I'm trying to kick the obsessive collecting habit and now if these come out on a Rhino label, I'll HAVE to get them all.

Ahhh...who am I kidding, even if it wasn't a different label, I'd probably do it just so I knew I had brand spanking new copies!
