Honestly I really can't believe people actually like this song, to me it sounds like a 50+ year old man trying to get into the pop charts again, this song is sooooo bad it makes me laugh to see people liking it, its so below prince's standards its just so hard to believe he actually put it on a album. here here! Way to suffocate an artist. Every time he raises the bar people expect him to reproduce ground breaking genious. I think this song is cool, actually made me and my friends laugh. "I got a lot of money, deow de deow deow" c'mon you guys...just a little smile? "so glam, it's absurd"

"I got a lot of money, deow de deow deow" c'mon you guys...just a little smile? It's good advice for any of us to remember. It's hard enough to hear greatness in the first place, but it's damn near impossible to hear something just written in the same way that your brain processes something 20 years old. But what the hell? I screw up all the time. The folks here seem to know everything about everything. Apparently I need to take notes.

I thought it was fun and lively and full of energy the first time I heard it but the more I listen to it it seems like its sorta losing energy for me. The other tracks continue go grow on me except All the Midnights (So far anyhow). The one U wanna C though seems to be fading on me a bit.
Complete opposite for me. I LOVED it when I first heard it and it just keeps getting better. Just good solid energitic creative song writing! Outside influence is obvious from old friends challenging him. Even to the opening verse that is cut short and u're advised it will b with the "make it fast" line...I lurve it!

Very, very cool track.
Every song, out of the thousands that he writes, does not have to be some mind-bending lyrical masterpiece. People get on my nerves. (Insert something clever here)

Very successful pop, but entering into a place he's really above. We're talking Shania Twain or some other pop princess. Now they couldn't do the song Planet Earth also, but that's another story.
In the end it's pretty damn catchy. My Legacy

In the end it's pretty damn catchy. I wouldn't agree with that. An artist can't always creat some groundbreaking revelation of a song. Sometimes, it's just a ditty, sometimes a bit more. A good artist can do a lot of it consistently....schmaltzy, profound, simple, childish, fun, groundbreaking, and simply different. Prince can do it all. It's also a fault of his cuz his focus is never limited and makes album listening for him difficult cuz his objectives bounce around so much from song to song. Like if every song was a chapter in a book you bought, but reading it, u felt like every chapter belonged to a different book.

I loved this song on the first listen -- and I liked it even better today when I finally heard it on CD.
I drove a round trip to a small town about 20 miles from where I work, along a two-lane state highway. (I wanted to listen to the album start to finish and knew this drive would give me enough time.) As The 1 U Wanna C kicked in, I was crossing a bridge over the Wisconsin river. Over the railing, I could see folks partying out on a sandbar -- and I thought, "Yeah, this song is a total summer party." A sunroof open, windows down, hair blowing in your eyes, head-bopping, sing along with the radio party. Twenty years ago this summer, I drove another country road in the same area singing and bopping my head to I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man. I got the same feeling today. I love it when the years just melt off you like that. Thanks, Prince. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Sometimes one hit wonders create one better song than legends do. This song has some of that pop magic, even though it's pretty shallow & not very creative. My Legacy

On first listen, I hated this song but it's starting to grow on me and I'm starting to like it. However, something funky would have been a much better replacement on the album. Andy is a four letter word.

i thought it was a contiuation of guitar ...but it's reminiscent of the parade era with wendy and lisa ..
is that good or bad? man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Maybe it's the GirlBros factor? im talking about the song...not the album...the album is still a "meh" with me...and what girlbros factor? i haven't a clue which song they appear on nor am i overwhelmed with the backing vocals i think are theirs...its cool that they are there though.
