The next thing I thought was that this song wouldn't be out to place in a Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello movie...somebody bring me my surfboard and let's do the twist! Love it! that's such a good description I'm glad somebody got it... Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Probably My favorite track, Chelsea is close so its a toss up. I like the twangy guitar and for some reason it reminds me of the Beach Boys but i don't know why. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

One of my favorites, CLASSIC Prince and the Revolution feel. I sure hope there's a video!!! Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Now I've heard this song in HQ I love it even more. Its like a paint by numbers Prince pop song, and with the awful lyrics it really shouldn't work, but for some reason it does - very infectious, and very catchy. Love the way he drops his falsetto harmonies in at the end then hits us with a guitar solo.
I see why some people said Shania Twain, the country guitar riffs throughout wouldnt sound out of place on one of her records, but there's more creativity in this track than you'd ever get on one of her records. Without question the catchiest thing he's written in years, and should have been the lead off single.

I love this! The riff is really good, sounds like something that could have been on D&P to me. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee

"Sugar Sugar" as in the Archie's song? Yeah I remember that song too. This song reminds of a track off the "Chaos and Disorder" CD. I like it, very nice danceable track. RIP, mom. People didn't like Right the Wrong either, but I always loved that track. This would go on the same album. "Don't you think one of the charms of marriage is that it makes deception a necessity for both parties?"

OK so I kind of dissed this song slightly, when I first heard it.
After listening 2 the album song 2 song, in CD quality, it fits well on the album, and it's very well done. It is reminiscent of his flirting with AOR rock in 1987, but also hints back at the Dirty Mind era. It is perfectly arranged, and the parts R played very well. It does work like other songs on this album, where their sequencing makes them work. "He's a musician's musician..."

The Archies! I don't hear it, myself -- but I remember the other, too. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Well, having heard this song, the guitar is a little reminiscent of twangy early '60s 'surf guitar', popularised by the LA surf bands of the time. That kind of guitar sound is used on one or both of the instrumentals on the Beach Boys' 'Pet Sounds' album. The tracks are respectively called 'Let's Go Away For a While' and 'Pet Sounds'. So, maybe you heard it there - or maybe not . Not my favourate track on PE right now, but 'tis ok.
