Hasn't grown on me yet.
After the first listen I just though to myself, we definitely need a fast one now, then The One U Wanna C bust out and I was happy again. I still kind of feel that way but I haven't started skipping it yet. It makes the next track even better if I listen to this first. Future Baby Mama is a much better slow one to my ears. RIP

I enjoyed this track from the first listen. Love the arangements. It's like the majority of the album for me, really enjoyable, easy to listen to music without being anything like his best album, it's also far from his worst. Track 7.5/10 " A mind changed against its will, is of the same opinion still"

Me... "Somewhere" i had "Adore" on vinyl. i had adore on tape. I had adore on CD. "Adore " was the soundtrack to many memorable "experiences" "Adore" is an old friend of mine... "Somewhere"...you sir...ARE NO ADORE! It's a pretty song in an Aural Lobotomy sort of way

Favourite song on the album.
Sounds like old school Prince Beautiful, sad tone to the song but still uplifting in a way. I'm sure Mani loves the line "been so long since ive been with someone/a million years" OUCH! lol Again, I'd love to see this live, I'm sure it'd be an emotional performance.

A CLASSIC fucking Prince tune!!!!!
And this coming from the hardcore, been ther forever, loved u when no one else kinda dude!!!!! I kinda liked PE..then Guitar...ehhh.. then this song comes on my ear,, just gets GLUED to the instruments..the seriousness in the voice ect...then moves on to the next couple tracks like..ehhh...then the 2nd part of the album loses me...especiallys Lions, Resolution...ect,, they just loose me, they are laughable and so fucking corny.... I never in my years thought I would be critical of Prince album.....even my freinds can't belive I have been more supportave abouut other new releases than the Prince release. let me suggest an album.... Bon Jovi's Lost Highway.... I just want to be beside myself...cuz Prince hasn't lived up to being PRINCE!!!!! MAYBE he needs to get his ass back to MPLS for good!!!!!

8/10 and getting better with every listen

Then do everything to make it go away.

This song is real music. Perfect. "Don't you think one of the charms of marriage is that it makes deception a necessity for both parties?"

You can just get lost in this track. Its got all the elements of classic P, and features his best vocal in years. Reminds me of a cross between Power Fantastic and 8 off Madhouse 8. The mix of flute and trupmet is sensational.

Makes me think of a cool jazz club just before closing time with an old man in a cap sweeping the floor while smoking a fag. Beautiful.

This is an excellent foreplay tune. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I agree with you! After the first few listenings it did nothing to me but now I just can't get it out of my head! Listening to this on repeat... Magical!

This song took me a couple of listens to get into, but now I'm head over heels in love with it!
For some reason when I listen to it I end up humping pieces of furniture. Do you think Prince intended for this to happen? "Plaid shorts are completely over."

It's the absolute best of his classic Jazz touch on the vocals, over perfectly simple and sparse orchestration. Love the sounds. It also works perfectly in the sequencing of what's before and after it. "He's a musician's musician..."

can do without the "digital age you can page me" line but other than that its a nice song.

I'm loving it more with each listen, the lyrics and music are so heart breakingly beautiful...and Prince's vocals are awesome. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

This song is simply amazing. It gets better and better with each listen. I feel like I'm on some kind of trip with this song the same way I've been with a song like Power Fantastic. This song, along with Planet Earth, is proof that Prince still has it. [Edited 7/16/07 21:06pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
