Planet Earth is old news , everyones after the NEW album in the News Of The World now , rumour has it the tracks really recapture Prince's sound from his 80s heyday . Standout tracks are said to be Kiss ( although some orgers are claiming the falsetto is tired ) , When Doves Cry ( sort of like I,C,P & C but with animal imagery ) and Purple Rain ( shamelessly rips off Gold sadly )
Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :

What another greatest hits album? I don't think this is what everyone is after...

I like it. The only dog really is 'All The Midnights In The World'.

I'm not too keen on 'Lion Of Judah' but it might grow on me.

Still listening to it I'm up to The One U Wanna C. It sounds GREAT so far except for guitar, which sounds more like a demo than the actual demo!

It's good, but I expected alot more from it personally. Having said that, the opening track (Planet Earth) is phenominal, I can imagine that song in the o2 arena creating the most amazing atmosphere. Chelsea Rodgers and Guitar are the other two standout tracks for me. I'm sure that the rest of the album will grow on me after a while - when I got 3121, I didn't think much of it - then after a few listens it became one of my favouties!

What a brilliant day. After waat seems to be 100's of days of continious torrential rain, not purple alas, I awoke to blistering beautiful sun and a new Prince Cd. What a Sunday. Thank God it is a day of rest and I can legitamidly enjoy Planet Earth.

I swear I didn't download it ages ago. biggrin

Brilliant album.

His best since 'The Gold Experience;.

I think much of it is equal to his 80's material if not better.
