Is anyone starting to feel as guilty as I do right now?

A couple of months ago there were rumours flying around the Org that Prince was releasing a new Album and perform live in the UK... the recipe for a perfect summer... but at what cost?

Then everything gets annonced officialy bit by bit and you find out that someone (namely Prince) is refusing to exploit his fans like every other artist (with any credibility that is) by charging the EARTH for tickets for gigs etc...

£31.21p to see Prince play live is a steal... but not only that, the man charges £25.00 for an aftershow party and gives his CD away for free...twice!

I know what I am going to do...and I encourage you all to do the same...

Get a £10.00 note or whatever you can afford... write on it 'Donation from a Prince fan' and mail it to a childrens hospital like great ormond street for example, as a gift for a sick child

Prince has put a smile on my face more than once this year... lets see if we can put a smile on some sick childrens faces in return...

did u notice the L.A show tickes were a few hundred dollers and up to $3000+

that's a really good and whole hearted idea.
unfortunately over here, Prince is still charging face value for the album, and he hasn't played a show (in PA) since 2004. But i'd be down for donations anyway.
