Is it just me or is Timberlake's "Sexy Ladies" a ripoff of P's "Sexy Dancer?"

So when I first picked up FutureSexLoveSounds, I heard Justin's song, "Sexy Ladies" and loved it. I must have played the track ten times in a row. Then awhile back, someone mentioned, "Sexy Dancer" and how "Sexy Ladies" was more or a less a rip off of it. I'm embarrased to say this, but I had never really heard the track. (P's old school music has never really done it for me, so I never really dove deep into it.) However, I checked out the song "Sexy Dancer," fell in love with it, and I think Timberlake's track is totally a rip off of it. I still love both though.

So in short, does anyone agree with this?

Honestly, it does sound a whole lot like a Prince song. Maybe not Sexy Dancer, but definitely a (1980’s) Prince song. In fact, the first time it came on I actually thought it was a single from Planet Earth. It’s obvious that JT and Timberland secretly worship Prince. I bet they live for his approval.

what's worse, a talentless cocksucker in the music business or a bitter, talentless cocksucker who couldn't make it in the music business? inquiring minds want to know.

and to the topic, absolutely not. outside of sexy being in the titles, there isn't a single similarity between the songs. Sexy Dancer is brilliant, Sexy Ladies is decent for a couple of listen but easily forgetable.
this message brought to you by logic.

its not a direct rip off, but the bridge part containing "want your body, want your body" is unashamedly from sexy dancer. I dont think they are trying to hide anything there..

Maybe it is not atotal ripp off, but I thought the whole Album by JT sounds like Prince snippets from start to finish. That was my impression on the first listen.

Ahh not another.. If any of you listen.. future sex/love songs justin said PRINCE did influence this cd and yes I will agree some songs DO sound like prince. I dont see why you all must hate on every other musical artist. I think justin did a good job on his new cd. Yes it does sound like prince but, its also fresh and new sounding. I think its awsome that he used prince as a influence to his music. And another thing.. how old are all of you? come on now.. could we use GROWNUP words? cocksucker and whatnot makes you sound stupid.. If you would like to make a point how about try something different?

it doesnt "rip off" sexy dancer anymore than, say, musicology rips off the payback or thank you falletinme, or my prettyman/the work "rips off" any number of james brown songs. or i could never take the place "rips off" springsteen
