I feel like shit I have been a prince fan FOREVER!!!!!
Planet Earth is JUST not doing it for me.... I REALLLY Wanted it to be one of those albums I have been looking forward to.... Musicology was So So with me.....3121.....ehhh..ok but this Planet Earth..there are a few classics..but it breaks my heart there was a time when a Prince release,,, just went to the center of my soul...this doesn't do it and the last 3 albums have been that way... What I do SUGGEST!!!!! That Prince, you get your ass back to Minneapolis....and get your groove back. YES PE, has its moments and I can accept it for what it is and love it for what it is...but LET"S HAVE "PRINCE" back!!!!! I miss PRINCE... | |

LEMME just add I REALLLLLY wanted PE to be everything that Musicology and 3121 wasn't....truth in it....
it does not have that MPLS soul to it.. I albsolutely adore "Somewhere Here On Earth" and can get into "The 1 Eye Wanna C"...but c'mon PRINCE!!!!! What is it gonna take for PRINCE to make a PRINCE album!!?!!?!?!!! U all don't have to be shy..... this album.....just .... doesn't... rise up to the bar. | |

ok, my response didnt' come thru...
but shame on you for thinking this needs to be locked... I'm just saying that this isn't living up to..... ????? whatever it may be ... I will be one to speak the truth I'm sure others hear/feel it... This album.. is .... it just doesn't do it.... sorry | |

...and I felt just making this post...cuz I LOVE all of Prince's output..
it's just PE....doesn't DO IT for me.... help me change my mind!!, cuz serioulsy P is the only thing going for me lately and if P has seriosly lost it....I May as well just listen to what I adore of past. | |

Ha, it's fun to read so many diverse opinions.
For me Planet Earth is Prince back to form, as opposed to Musicology and 3121, which i liked, but PE is much more satisfying to me! |
