GangstaFam said: IstenSzek said: ok i'm gonna listen to it again Herman would spank you! I will, whatever. La, La, La, He, He, Hee is one of his best funk efforts; it is rather spontaneous, which is always fun. It was when he was able to make silly lyrics sound good. The mentioned part is indeed awfully wicked, but please Lars, at 3:08 you can hear the horn section, alas, mixed to the back, go crazy. It is the part he used during the SOTT tour to segue When Doves Cry into Purple Rain. But the relentless fun sparking off the song makes it nasty to me in a good way. His moaning, 4:30 into the song. naaaaasty!

Feel U Up (Long Stroke). It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

i just don't like ultimate questions. technically, the question asked is impossible to answer
the beatles had some pretty good b sides. perhaps as good, if not better than Princes. Same with the Stones, and other artists.. Prince has had some very very good b sides.

Erotic City and Shes Always in My Hair are neck and neck followed by How Come U Don't Call me Back in the day when a Prince single was dropped you always waited in anticipation for the B-side. In fact Prince was so popular in DC that the sations here played his b-sides just like singles Always in My Hair Erotic City 17 Days Shockadelica Love or Money and others prio to 88 and Lovesexy (when things started really going downhill comericially) all played on the radio [Edited 7/15/07 7:47am] Dance... Let me see you dance

I think it is one the songs that non-fans and fans alike love, so in that regard, maybe yes. I do like it, but it's not my absolute fave--that will always be 17 Days.
KoolEaze said: The only flaw is that it sounds a little too much like Laid Back´s "White Horse" but , despite White Horse coming out a year or so earlier, I still wouldn´t rule out that Prince wrote Erotic City before White Horse came out. Maybe Laid Back heard an unreleased Erotuc City before they came up with White Horse.
There are a lot of similarities but Erotic City is still one of my favorite songs. Yesterday I was hanging out at the roller skating "rink" in Central Park (not a rink with wooden surface, just a place where the old school skaters go to skate-dance) and the DJ played White Horse followed by Erotic City. There are definite similarities but hearing them back to back really made me appreciate how shocking Prince's sound and lyrics must have been when Erotic City first came out. (Erotic City didn't make it to where I grew up...) It was kinda of bizarre to hear "we can funk/fuck until the dawn" blasting through Central Park on a Saturday afternoon.
