This song brings back memories of when I discovered Prince's R&B/Soul side listening to "Do Me Baby" and all its naughtiness ("I'm so cold...") after first being introduced to him via Purple Rain.

I'm a HUGE "paisley" Prince fan. The Prince of W&L, the Revolution, beatlesque melodies, pop sensibilities but I also 100% have fond memories of the R&B side of him as well. This isnt Prince trying to be hip. This song is pure 80s Minneapolis sound R&B. Much more so than recent ones like Satisfied, You make my sunshine etc...This one just sounds more Princey to me.
