Prince set the bar, not the fans. One thing I've noticed other artist sites don't put out this much negativity towards the artists they are hosting, I went on Chaka's website last week and they had more praise for Prince than they have here, it's really sad the org is know all over the web to be "Prince haters"  | |

It really is a shame isn't it. Its like prince was the best fuck of their lives and even though he's not hittin it like they like they can't let go. Its pathetic. I think there should be a Prince rehab site where people can ween themselves off of Prince and move on with lives lol. | |

Yeah but you may not want to hear Purple Rain but plenty of others do I remember going to the ONA concert in london you got the fans shouting for him to play Purple Rain, Did he play it Nope he didnt but he knows this is what fans want to hear so hes gotta satisfy that percentage of fans hell i wish he didn't do it when I saw him in NYC during the ONA tour. Hence during the musicolgy tour I left when he started doing the song. it's played out. my advice 2 those that want 2 hear it, hopefully u tivo'd or taped it during the superbowl. it's time 4 prince 2 move on with his current projects and the songs that others have longed 2 hear play live. man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

That tour is probably my favorite of all the ones I have on CD. Sure the majority of the fans probably came just to hear the hits, but I'm glad he forced them to listen to what he was doing at the time. I was thinking the same thing. U know if a Non Fan came here 2 check out the Prince community they just might think this is not a Fan site. I swear the only thread I see where Prince gets mad love is the "Ass Pictures" threads. I'm not saying we have 2 be "Fams" as some folks call it. "Prince" has had good songs out, lately that I "LIKE". None could I say that I "LOVE", lately, though. That is, with all due respect, my honest opinion/feeling. I would never say that I just "HATE" new Prince songs because they are not like his old ones. But, there is something about the vibes, you know what I mean? I mean, "Future Baby Mama" is okay, I guess. I am thinking that title is throwing me off, maybe, because; even after listening to the song about five times consecutively, I can not get into it. "Guitar" just.....you already know how I feel about that "THING"! What I can see that I "NEARLY LOVE" is "3121's Title Track". It's groovy! It's cool. That damn song should have been released as a single. But, all in all, if I "HATE" a song, it's a sign that I am not brainwashed ("AND", I am a self-proclaimed "Hardcore" fan of the guys).
