I want him to release a series of high-quality box-sets (similar to the Miles Davis sets) going through the stages or his career, with all the released material, unreleased versions and outtakes in perfect quality, and carefully-conceived packaging and liner notes.
Of course, this would rely on other people to compile and create (he would edit too much), and unfortunately, I don't think we'll see anything like this until he's dead. As much as I want these box sets, I don't want him dead... | |

Trying to answer this question I find what I want is Prince to fit back into the dependable cookie cut output that comes with an alliance with a major record company. Thats not going to happen. From now on its flying by the seat of his pants. Don't expect things like release dates. Its uncharted territory from here on out. So hold on. Just let it come. | |
