Sick of his own gift? PE sounds like an album by an artist who is just going through the motions because he is compelled to. It sounds like he's sick of his own gift. Maybe that's why he plays live so much, because it gives him a chance to get his mind of writing and recording. | |

It's more like his gift has been MIA for a long time now. An album like PLanet Earth would never have been released if it was by a new artist because no record company would release such garbage. It's like that for a lot of "classic" artists - they get to release new music on the strength of their past accomplishments but many times its so bad as to be almost amateurish and makes their past greatness look like a fluke. | |

WTF Prince is always playing live even before his first contract with WB and if the case of taking his mind of recording hes got plenty of unreleased music so really he never has to record again if he doesnt wants to he loves making new music | |

Yeah yeah yeah... the reason I don't like this album is because my mind is closed to his greatness and his incredible spiritual depth.... blah blah blah... I was the one saying that to people about albums like NPS or 3121, but this album flat out sucks.... this is the worst thing he's ever done far and away.. I can write a poem about that too...
