... $100 to buy the rest of Prince's catalog. Used up my free CDs from BMG, got the rest from half.com. I bid on 'For You' on eBay cause it was cheaper. All I've got left is 'Prince' because when you search for it on eBay, you get 623 results and I do not have the patience to look through all of them.

I even bought Crystal Ball and (god forbid) New Power Soul so I can see what the commotion is all about!

I feel... spent.

I actually bought Purple Rain when I was a junior in HS, but didn't really open it until last year...

Definitely pick up the Prince album. Excellent production top to bottom and still sounds fresh, unlike For You which sounds a little dated now.

Something in the Water may be the best song on the entire album, which says a lot! It's sooo emotional. I may identify with it more than any single song in his catalogue, with perhaps the exceptions of Anna Stesia, The Cross and Love...Thy Will Be Done.

That's hitting a little too close to home at the moment But you're right, it is a great song! I will be raving about it more, after I listen to it a few more times... I definitely love the chorus, that's fer sure.
