Yes, I loved that moment when he said something like : I am many things but one thing I´m not...ungrateful . Thanks for sticking with me through the thick and the thin. Or when he said : My dad used to say " Change is good!",so I changed...how ya like me now ? There were many moments were he seemed to be genuinely touched and showed some real emotions on stage....one of the best weeks in my life . He did not say that. | |

Talking about emotions onstage, I remember people posting about how Prince cried during "I love you but I don't trust you anymore" in one of the celebrations | |

He choked up in L.A during the first Musicology concert -- during the acoustic set. The press described the moment, one of the few that's been reported I believe. | |

Prince is very suave when it comes to showing emotion; he likes to be in control.
But every now and then it all gets too much and he gets down on the floor, as shown in the artwork of Old Friends 4 Sale. I saw him do it once and he treated me to one of the best Prince concert I ever saw... Another time he responded to a crying fool in the audience. That somehow pleased him, to see someone react that way. Not in an evil way, he smiled cuz his music touched this fella. That must be something of a rush. |
