have heard 6 of the 10 tracks including the so called weak track 'mr goodnight' and there is no doubt this is a superior album...better so far than 3121 (which i thought was a good prince album ) and well ahead of musicology (which i thought was just ok ) i love all the tracks so far and i am actually excited about the music i am hearing...listen to 'somewhere here on earth' and tell me that aint as good as his 80s output ?...there is something for everybody on this album i believe...he is so fucking talented , its sickening !

I totally agree blackbob. 3121 and Musicology were good albums, but the tracks we've heard so far from Planet Earth just sound so much fresher. The melodies inparticular are a lot stronger. I actually like the laid-back vibe of "Mr. Goodnight".
