That's not enough to tell.
Sounds like a Luther track.

Sounds promising!

I like his 'traditional' organic sounding soul-songs (like Adore, Power Fantastic and Why dont you call me anymore) a LOT more then his more contemporay sounding R&B cuts (Future Baby Mama), and this one sounds like it belongs in the first category.

Do i hear some orchestral arrangements in there too? Clare Fisher?

Wow !

This is a 1000 times better than the last two ballads ( Satisfied and On the Couch..which I found unlistenably boring ).This is sweet and nice....Prince , saviour of my ( rainy ) summer.

Sounds like "A House Is Not A Home" based on the snippet...

This is shaping up to be one of the best albums he's released in a while from what I've heard so far.

I totally agree even in future baby mama the vocals sound like early early prince stuff. The falsetto on those 2 songs doesnt sound as high as i am used to hearing it

Did you hear it live or did you hear this version? Also, is there a different sample of this anywhere?...and/or a longer one?

I'm not saying that I heard the whole track. But let's just say I did.
Or let's say I imagined it. All 5:46 mins of it.

It probably wouldn't be what I expected based on the other 3 tracks but
I'd probably like it much more than the sample lead me to believe I would.

I'm going to go imagine it again.
A few times.

Yes...and possibly added to the Quiet Storms, but should become a jazz/light jazz staple.

Rockability

Wow the sample sounds horrible. For anyone wanting some Funk and/or Rock, this is queer.

By queer I mean grooving to Celine Dion or Barbara Streisand in Vegas. That portion made me want to throw on a purple wig, some shades, three piece suit, and head to the nearest 7-11 for a wine cooler to sip on.

1 u Want to C. Pretty good, definetely going to be the best in years for live performance.

FBM: Heard enough of that shit. Man, Prince can really pump out that shit. Too bad he got bored with his Min. sound and sticks with this junk.

If you a fan of the "Power Fantastic" Claire Fisher, muted horn stuff, you should dig "Somewhere..." Aint nothing Vegas about it...lol...But of course, you haven't heard the entire song, right?
