Paisley Park Photos (from 7/8/07) PP is waiting for him to come home. It was empty, they left the gates open and we went in briefly to experience.

The last few times I have seen photos of PP it seems as though know one is ever there. Is this true or do ppl still work there on a daily basis?

The cellys were a lot of fun, I wish Prince would go back to doing them again. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

rozilla, You didn't tell them who we saw at Perkins Restaurant right after these photos were taken. We ate and just before we hit the road back to Michigan in walks Shelby, Larry Graham and his wife and a few others I didn't recognize. I think they just came from church, but that was a trip. If it woulda been 5 minutes later we woulda been in the car and gone!

Orgnote me and fill me in on what I missed. The cellys were a lot of fun, I wish Prince would go back to doing them again. Orgnoting? Nah, nothing too personal Well, a couple month ago, I met Girl66 from the org. We met and camped out at Macy's where we met CarrieMPLs and Endorphin. Really nice people! Girl66 and I remained friends since then. On 7/7/7, we arrived at Macy's at about 2.30 and they had already let in the people in line by giving them a red wristband (probably to avoid them from staying the the heat), so we stand in line and our Princey was already late and started his soundcheck. We were treated very nicely by the Macy's people and got in the auditorium at 5.05. The show began right away. Morries Hayes on keyboard and my dream coming true the ONLY SHEILA E arrived. I was so busy staring at her that I missed Prince coming in the side of the stage. He played the first four songs non-stop almost like in a hurry and gave no eye contact to the public. Then, finally he started talking to us and kept playing the last 3 songs. He then asked us if we wanted to hear something old or something new and we didn't even have time to answer that he said "how about we play both?" so we all screamed and enjoyed. Then he left and came back for an encore after trading his sweaty black shirt for a white one, he only played one song and told us he had to go back to the other place. Target Center didn't let us in until about 9.30. We were mad and Girl66 and I about to faint from the heat and low blood pressure. We finally got in and didn't get out for another hour. Wendy was on stage, another dream come true. I loved when he called her his best friend and when she came behind him and cuddle him by posing her head on his left shouder. I wish it had been me. I also like when he introduced Sheila E to the public and since we didn't seem to clap loud enough, Sheila E started leaving, Prince took her by the arm and brought her back telling us: I said Sheila E so we clapped louder and she started playing. He also grabbed one of the Twinz by the arm and asked her to sing Lalalalalalala from Sheila's song. At some point, he had a fan sing a song and he did wonderful. He also had a couple fans on stage and stared at one of them laying in front of the public like if she was crazy. I'm sorry I can't remember titles, order or other details, I was just in Heaven.

We've stayed in Chanhassen MANY times .. even times that
Prince was NOT in town and Paisley Parks gates are pretty much ALWAYS open..... In fact a couple of times we actually walked in and asked if there was anything planned there. The people were always nice but usually just said "With Prince you never know"..... The last time or so we have been up there the place has been pretty quiet.. They are doing some major remodeling it appears. Only a couple of cars and a van there when we stopped by on the 7th.. Also..... does any one else HATE how Chanhassen went from a nice peaceful Village to just another stupid town?? Blah.. too many stores and junk..... Progress is NOT always nice.....

I completely agree with you. When I first came in Chanhassen, Prince's ex house was the only one on the hill and Paisley Park was peacefully located. Then, all of a sudden, it grew like nowhere else. I HATE it!

Does anyone know what this building is being used for? It looks like some type of storage facility. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Originally Prince claimed he was gonna use that circle building
for concerts and get togethers.. remember?? But then all of a sudden he got LA up his butt and turned his back on MN.. Does any one remember that little Mini Golf course that use to be up on the corner of Galpin Blvd?? My hubby and I use to play there all the time.. but I always did lousy cause I was always watching for Princes car to drive by.. and it did 2 times Also the Festival Foods that use to be there.. that was a neat store.. now its a Cub foods.. and the Prarie House Resteraunt.. they had great food. It was right by the Chanhassen Inn. Oh.. I was shocked at how many people were taking pictures of our Van. lol It has plates Prince 9.. and I have several types of Prince stickers on it.. Even on the drive up alot of people were checking it out. (Lots of Lab stickers too)

Like Orionforever said..it was planned to be some state of the art concert hall for shows and stuff. Back in the early 00's on the NPCMC site...they would show pics of it being built and hyping the hell out of it...then Prince did the Grammy's got popular again with the masses, moved back to Hollywood, and there it just sits. ... Every minute of last night is on my face today....

I almost feel like a fam saying this, this but I really want to be there someday. It's just an odd white building from the outside, but you all know what it really means.
