one of my top 10 fav prince songs since 1990. simply incredible performance.
and whatever other people find to bitch about them i think the lyrics r cool  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

listening to it again isn't going to make the lyrics any less misguided. anyone who actually knows anything about Abraham Lincoln will tell you that it's b.s. and i'm more inclined to believe historians who have dedicated their entire careers to studying the man than whatever crackpot said it to Prince and he ran with it.
