He has had loads of cloud guitars over the years and probably loads of versions of each guitar he owns! you could even get a replica cloud guitar from the npg store when it was open. Did anybody buy one ?they where pretty expensive . |

Prince told that story at a sound check in Cleveland,Ohio. I wasn't sure if he was serious or just playing around. I thought he said he was serious about it,but I just find that really bizarre and difficult to believe.   Who knows, some things are strange but true.Yep, that's where I heard the story. Between a Strat and a Tele? Looks like your picture has a Strat in it. Or at least a Strat copy. Aside from that that the differences are obviously the shape, the tone/sound. Strats tend to have 3 single coil pickups while Telecasters have 2. If I'm not mistaken prince has recently played what is called a Fat Strat. It's a Stratocaster with 2 single coils and on humbucker pickup at the bridge. | |

I know this thread is all about the guitars but I'm loving the different
facial expressions on all the live shots too , makes you wonder why his posed shots are often so sullen and joyless when hes got such a wonderful expressive face really . | |
