Will Prince or Warner Brothers ever rerelease Prince's WB ca

Remastered or remastered and remixed (Prince has a really shitty sounding catalog by and large)

Plus, a bonus disc of B-sides, extended versions, demos, unreleased rarities.

If there were enough bonus material, people would buy.

Many other artists (Weezer, Pavement, The Ramones, The Pretenders, just to name very few) have done this.

That heading is supposed to say "Prince's WB catalog."

yes, eventually.

one of these days, I have a feeling that it's going to be WB that Prince does one of these one-off distribution deals with. and deluxe remasters will be a deal sweatener. hell, they'd probably distribute and promote the shit out of his new one for free if he just let them do deluxe remasters of his old albums biggrin

easy answer...no

Remastered classics and extended/remixed versions?? the closest your going to get is the Prince Ultimate album...

A Bonus disc of B-sides....welllll...there is a pretty decent 3rd disc that includes that on The Hits/The B-Sides 3 CD set

The closest you'll get to outtakes and unreleased material is the 3 CD set, "Crystal ball" plus the CD "The Vault"... or need I say "The Black Album"

Prince doesn't show interest in his back catalog...so just keep up with the now..I really wish these days were just as saturated with Prince as in days of old...

But when it all comes down to it... I have no complaints.

It would be absolutely brilliant if Prince and WB could work together again in a way that was mutually beneficial. Unfortunately I don't think it is going to happen which is such a shame because I reckon ALL the hardcore fans around the world would buy all the remastered CDs and that would mean a lot of $$$ for both parties!

It really would be great to see all the albums up to and including Lovesexy digitally remastered with bonus material such as B-Sides and outtakes. Hell that would be 10 albums I would have to buy again (and I already have bought them once on vinyl and then again on CD).
'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

I agree most of the best albums (Dirty Mind - Lovesexy) have a very "low" sound to them - especially Sign O The Times.
I really don't think Prince and WB will work together again and the only way the albums will be remastered is when he is gone I would say. sad
Wouldn't it be great to have SOTT reissued as Crystal Ball - the way it was intended and to have it sounding absolutley brilliant! Or Purple Rain with all the FULL length versions of the songs on a bonus disc!

you never know, though. did you ever think there'd be a snowball's chance in hell that he'd agree to something like "Ultimate Prince" or that he'd thank them in his R&R hall of fame speech?
