I can dance anywhere...
I can only see Prince and the band live once and a while.
I like to see the expressions on the artists' faces as
they strut their stuff...I like to see what moves them!
Those priceless expressions on P's face when he plays that
guitar are unforgetable unless you are too busy dancing
to see them.
When I get home from the concert I like to re-live my experience.
I learned early that I can't have both.
Of course you HAVE to dance to some of the jams!!!..

I guess it just comes down to a matter of respect. There's no way that anyone should have the right to tell someone else what to do at a concert. Give me general admission, or give me death!

I was just remembering being at the last Prince concert in Cleveland, my wife and I were dancing ,(I think it was during 1+1+1 is 3), and people were actually throwing things. That's bullshit. I payed close to $500.00 for our tix, so if I wanna dance, I'm gonna dance god damn it!
I am very polite to the people around me, and if it's a slow point in the concert I do sit, but how do u think an artist feels when he's belting out a jam up onstage and he's looking out at a crowd of concrete asses?
He sure won't want to come back!

What about slow dancing? By picking fast dancing, over slow dancing means, not only are you trying to tell people they should dance, but you are trying to tell then what they should dance to. Hypocrites.

Its simple. Every major city has venues where there are no seating. Those that want to dance, wait until a Prince concert takes place there, those who prefer seats, choose the seated venue.

Then we can stop trying to force personal opinion on other people.

At the TGE concert at Wembley Arena which is seated Prince actually asked 'why are you guys not dancing', he was kinda annoyed that people were not up and jumping about.

At a recent concert,my friend almost got into a fight with the lady sitting behind her.This lady told my friend to "Sit down because I can't see!".Wtf?? If you're just gonna sit in your seat,you really should have just stayed home and watched a concert DVD or something.People go to concerts to dance,hear music and have a good time.Most of the time,the performer is ENCOURAGING you to get up and dance! If you didn't come to party,you shoulda kept your dead ass at home!

It's like those "wallflowers" that go to nightclubs but never dance,they just stand by the wall with their hands in their pockets.Wtf???

If I wanted to stand I would get a general admission ticket. If there was a concert that was ONLY GENERAL ADMISSION I wouldn't go because I am unable to stand
there for 3 hours, I would have to leave after a short time so what's the point... But all you dancing bastards can do what the hell you like all with your own kind there...

Dancing for some people is not enjoyable, for some it can actually cause physical pain.
