im a life long Prince fan and I must say after hearing the first 3 tracks we are back to the old I love it like the last 2 albums but after the fans have had it they bash it!I think 3121 was good and I think Musicology was better so I would be cool if Planet Earth was in between because after I heard 3121 I was little let down after Musicology.Keep in mind we are only 3 tracks away from judging!!!My take so far is:

GUITAR:7/10(thank GOD for the new mix)
Future Baby Mama:8/10(very very very nice,someone compared it to CALL MY NAME and while its noyt that good its damn close)
THE 1 U wanna C:7/10(only heard it once and I really dug the POWER POP it brings!)

anyway thoughts and hate mail?

Yes, I think Prince has got a winner here, and FBM is gonna fly up the charts!

this is what i believe. based on reading everyone's review, I honestly believe that Prince will never produce a CD that is a winner with the fans. We're always going to have mixed reviews no matter what songs he does. You got the fams who love everything no matter what-whether the song is good or not good, the haters who hold themselves prisoners/hostages to the past and unnecessarily over-analyze every song, and you have those in between who give genuine honest assessment both good and bad. All in all its interesting to read each take on it and other perspectives.

I'm not a big fan of Guitar, but I love the one u wanna c, it just has that feel good vibe to it, puts me in such a good mood, and i like his vocals, and I really like, not love, but really like Future Baby Mama.
