iTunes Gives Away Surpise Live Earth Guest? Online music store puts Prince on playlist By Laura Katz [Prince] NEW YORK, NY Monday Jul.2.2007 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Rollingstone.com reports that Apple's online music store may have inadvertently given away one of Live Earth's surprise guests. iTunes currently features a Live Earth playlist on its homepage including songs by Madonna and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, both of whom are scheduled to play the July 7th event. Also on the list, however, is the Prince classic "Purple Rain," but the music legend isn't officially on the Live Earth bill. Whether it is a goof or a leak remains to be seen. Good point...and for that reason, it better not be true....because that would trump the afterparty at Paisley.... or.... It's more fuel for an aftershow at Paisley...perhaps he will broadcast a performance of Purple Rain from Paisley to those at the Live Earth concert? | |
