fargo. in the credits it says-

victim in field - prince

Even though it wasn't.

also he gets a mention from Julia Roberts in 'Pretty woman'.
And i recall a Bruce Willis film where he gets a mention when Bruce and some woman are having lunch.can't remember the film though!

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Look closely at the credits because the symbol is COMPLETELY different then Prince's.

If it's on it's side doesn't that make it completely different?

And if my memory is correct (and I'm pretty sure it is) the tip doesn't come to a point (it's just a flat line instead of this ">").

How about the opening scene from "Scary Movie" with Carmen Electra - when goes outside and there's a Prince look-alike tied up in her yard. I thought this was hilarious!

Stay Tuned (sf/fantasy movie): a tv addict and his wife get sucked into their satelite dish and have to zap from channel to channel (there are "only" 666 of those) to win their souls back from the devil.
In one of the clips the guy has turned into Prince, wearing a yellow suit and dancing in a video clip, but the music is from another band. Pretty funny.

Regardless .. the intention was for the guy who played the victim to use the symbol. As the org FAQ points out - it's simply a modified version of it.

Yeah, that was John Ritter dressed in Prince's banana yellow outfit and pompadour. Too funny.

Another one is Soulman when C Thomas Howell is trying to get into some school made up as a black guy...at one point he's at dinner with some snobby family and they picture him as Prince--circa 1984, long tongue and all. lol

Some credits you may not know: A Goofy Movie 's soundtrack was partially recorded at Paisley Park with Tevin Campbell and Rosie Gaines. In the closing credits it says something similar to "Music Producer: Paisley Pappe'"
My fav Disney film BTW.

Exactly.

I have always wondered why people actually thought that Prince played the part being as it wasn't even really his symbol. Come on would Prince really do a cameo? Not likely. It's all very funny.

not really takin th episs, but in Breakfast Club, when they are having lunch,if u look really closely at Alison's (the loner type girl) record sleeve she is holding, its Prince on it,not sure what reord it is tho.

In Last Boy Scout that is classic, where Gett Off is playin in the strip joint & bruce willis sez "what is with this fuck shit!?" or sumthin like that.
Then in the car, talkin bout his daughter he sez "yeah she's in2 Prince,go figure" Damon Wayons: "i like Prince..AAOOWA!" <<< CLASSIC smile
