Hi, although these two albums were released close enough to one another, their recording histories are quite varied. Which is your favourite between them, considering that they both have three discs (excluding Truth).

Myself, I'd have to go along with Crystal Ball. The title song itself is awesome and over the three CDs there seems to be a bit more to offer. I like Emancipation, but I think that this was the album where he should really have thought of the concept that less is more-a two CD album of it would have been awesome. Any comments? Cheers

Apart from being a multiple disc sets, I don't see much similarity between them. But I have to say that I play more CB than Emancipation

I have yet to sit and listen to all of Emancipation of PP, so I guess I'll go with Crystal Ball.

Even though it's an even bigger mess, I pick Crystal Ball because it has more top-notch songs.

I can't believe anyone is even seriously choosing E cipation over CB. Crystal Ball is clearly superior.

I like both but play Emancipation much more
