i get the "i hate u" comparisons. though this song is really sugary and fluffy, which is fine, and it's something only prince can do, but it's pretty interchangeable. one kinda okay thing i thought about this song is that it would be right at home on the "girl 6" soundtrack.

maybe it's a grower for me, i dunno. or maybe i'm not into the flouncey mid-tempo prince stuff as much as other people are.

I like the song ! dislike the title this sounds playful and flirtatious

CALL MY NAME sounded very old fashioned - forced and contrived IMO

this is song is much sexier! so I found a good medium when im singing the sing I just won't sing the FBM part smile

To me it´s an average song, nothing special, nothing new, even a bid to much talking inbetween. Nothing more then a simple b-side character to me.

I think there are much better ballads from Prince then this one.
Ohhh, and some of u are mentioning Call My Name.
CMN is way better in my ears, a much better vocal performance.

But sure, i respect those ppl loving Future Baby Mama, u can´t do it right to everyone.

For me it´s a 5/10.

Anxiety	i like the way they're pushing this song as an "official leak", especially since "guitar" is supposed to be the lead-off single. the whole "bootleg" thing on 3121.com is kinda weird and a little cheesy, but that and the radio play is definitely getting the song heard...i'm more impressed by this strategy than by the actual song!

It's on both Lovesexy and The Black Album. It will probably be easier to listen to on The Black Album because the songs on that album are tracked. All the songs on the Lovesexy album are on one continuous track so you can't skip to specific songs. (Unless you have a German(?) pressing.)

LOVEandLIGHT	"Future Baby Mama"-The Video was filmed tonight in L.A., there was a closed set and no inside info has leaked except the video is expected to be released the week of the 16th on BET, VH1, VH1 Soul,& Mtv! Watch out, J & J will rock Late Night In the NEXT few weeks!
