Artists that were inspired by Prince

Hi everyone.

Working on a project, and need a list of artists that have said that they were inspired by Prince. I know, there are so many, but I need to get a decent list.

For example....Missy Elliott, Beyonce, Usher...

Thanks for your help!
Matt

eek confused Man, I remember when he was on "106 & Park Live" (Mind you, I don't watch this "ANYMORE" and I never really did that often when the first two interviewers were "AJ & Free") the evening after last year's "2006 BET Music Awards". When he was asked whether or not he liked "Prince", he hesitantly said, "Well....creatively." Other times, though, he is always on "Michael Jackson's Jock" (Though, I love the guy, personally. But, if I was influenced by the guy, I wouldn't be so reluctant to say that I was. That kind of tripped me out about "Chris Brown" and his teeny-bopper self). What's up with that? I don't think he even really likes "Prince", just by going on that.

How can he NOT give props to Prince? Its obvious that he was a strong influence.

Actually I caught a top 25 countdown on BET hosted by Chris Brown and about half the videos were Prince and half MJ. (of course his own video was #1) He mentioned that his fav Prince song is Joy in Repetition so must have some good taste smile

Say what? WOW! Thank "GOD" he didn't pick something from the "Purple Rain/1999" albums because that would have been typical of him. However, instead, he chose something from "Graffiti Bridge", a rarity amongst celebrities to do such a thing. So, now he can't hide that he was once a
"Closet Prince Fan(m)". Although, I'd be willing to bet that "Michael Jackson" was ahead of "Prince" on that countdown. lol

Oh, no! I once seen him perform on "The Jimmy Kimmel Late Show" with this tack turquoise outfit that had a big glitter heart in the middle. I also remember that receiting hairline. Good God, I'm hitting really close to home, aren't I? sad
