Planet Earth will be included in every copy of The Mail on Sunday on the 15th Of July.

They recommend you order a copy now.

Perhaps they should, because there will be loads of copies of the album on ebay with a buy it now of a couple of quid on that day, and it's coming out 10 days earlier in that paper than it is in the US.

Anyway, there's loads of stuff on here about gigs in the US and so on which is of limited interest to those abroad. Don't get grumpy just because the UK's getting some love for a change.

There's a free DVD in today's MoS, so it might be worth taking a look at today's edition in your nearest newsagent to see if the disc is in there. If it is, then I'm guessing that there's no reason why the Prince one won't be.

if ya live in chicago, there's a bookstore on state street near chicago ave that specializes in international periodicals and newspapers. chances are likely they'll have the Mail on Sunday. i don't know the name of the place, but it's about a block north of state & chicago. shrug

No DVD over here, just a voucher for a free hamburger. And no mention of the Planet Earth offer in the paper.

I'm worried that we won't get it here at all. Sony's Irish distribution is based out of the UK, so we could have the worst of both worlds with no freebie and no retail release.

You're obviously more patient than me - as we say in Dublin, 'Wait me bollix!'
I've already emailed the newspaper and I'm ringing Sony tomorrow.
If there's bad news, I'm driving up to Newry to try and get a UK paper.

So the irony is that the 'Planet Earth' CD will cost the ozone layer a 3-hour round trip.

But after I wait for it to be shipped to the US, plus paying S & H,I may end up getting it 3 days before the US release & save 1 or 2 dollars - big deal.

I'm in Cork, so I think driving up the north for the paper would be a bit insane for me! If you think of it, please let me know if you get a response from your e-mail to the paper
