New version of Raspberry Beret?

Is there a new version of "Raspberry Beret?" I have a cell phone account with Sprint and the downloads for ringers include the singles from Musicology all the jams from 3121, and Song of the Heart. I constantly check on line to see if they ever have any of the old hits available. I was on the other day and joyously found "Raspberry Beret." But when I downloaded it to my phone, It was not the same version as the original. Is there a new version of the song with Wendy & Lisa?

Dude, it's a ringer It only plays for about 5 seconds. I could only tell that it was NOT the original from 1985. The backing vocals did however sound a lot like Wendy & Lisa to me, but maybe that was just my hoping. It sounded pretty much the same, but it kind of had a beat that sounded like the one in "If I Was Your Girlfriend," and there was some add libbing in the chorus I was not familiar with, that's what made me think it was a remake. The composition sounded the same. So nobody is answering my question.

Yes, that´s when he wrote it. Supposedly sounds different, no strings etc.

Probably from ONA Live. There was a brief time when ringtones were available through NPGMC, and many old hits were listed, but when you listened to them they were the ONA Live versions (since Prince doesn't own the rights to the originals). There was no indication that they weren't the originals, though, which I thought was a little deceiptful.
