I think I've been pretty positive about him since I got here. The only thing I've really been on him about is some things on 3121, what he should have done here/there, etc. And maybe towards the beginning, I was on him about the SNL performance and the DAvid Letterman appearance in '96... both of which I didnt get into at all... (SNL took me an extra viewing or two to get into).

And I love coming here cuz everyone knows him and what he's really like. They don't let his weirdness/quirks bother them. I find the majority of people outside of here are judgmental about him based on his reputation to be outrageous... I grew as a "follower" here the way every listener of Prince should.

And I do feel like everything's pretty positive here with a few exceptions here and there. And I don't judge him, but I always try to find the truth instead of going along with rumors.

I will not bow down 2 everything Prince has done cause I am sick of him doing songs from that era that he can not escape from if he tried cause then some would complain that he doesn't do it anymore. Sometimes another view is better than just bending over ...with no vasiline.

It would be kinda boring if no one bitched, I agree that there is a bit much negativity when it comes to Prince's stuff, okay ALOT of negative comments, but that is what keeps the org alive, so we can argue with each other..otherwise it would be dead here other than the Picture Threads !!!!!

oh please, this site is an "independent and unofficial Prince fan community site". that means that all level of fans are welcome to share their perspectives and opinions no matter what they are.

you know, there are so many different levels of fandome---from those who love just the funk, only love the concerts, only love the albums, only love the r&b, only love the movies...why try to force folks into your preconceived notion of what a fan is?

and then there are folks who are fans of a past era...so they don't like today's era...big wooo...does that make you enjoy the music you like any less?
